PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

  • As a therapist, Dr. McNeill works with all ages, particularly with depression, suicidal thoughts/behavior and anxiety. However, her area of expertise is with children and adolescents with conduct problems, ODD, personal identity issues, at-risk behaviors, etc. Dr. McNeill also does therapy with families, including parenting skills training and marital counseling. Additionally, Dr. McNeill is a professor, teaching master level counseling students. She also does resilience and self-esteem based research with at-risk youth.
